(Lt(N)) Thomas Morin-Cabana is an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy currently assigned to the Headquarters of the Canadian Joint Operations Command (HQ – CJOC) in Ottawa. Throughout his journey, he has been awarded the bronze, silver, and gold medals of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Canada. Today, as the President of the Quebec branch of the Award, he aims to give back to the program that opened doors for him.
Disciplined, ambitious, and constantly seeking a better world, he currently leads several public and semi-public organizations and movements. In this capacity, and as Mission Commander, he founded the #Potentiel Infini project. During the first edition of the project, he raised funds by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m), the fourth highest peak in the world by continent.
Laurence Daigle is a 20-year-old woman studying mechanical engineering. She has always loved traveling and discovering the beauty of every place she visits and every person she meets. She is also passionate about helping others in their times of need, which led her to join the youth department of St. John Ambulance.
Third-Class Sailor (S3) Zekiel Lefrançois embodies dedication and a passion for service. At 19 years old, he is already a significant player in public service and the community. As a coordinator and leader of the #Potentiel Infini project, he demonstrates his commitment to community development. Additionally, Zekiel is a Medical First Responder with St. John Ambulance and serves as a Youth Officer, where he guides and inspires young people in their journeys. His path, marked by perseverance, has earned him numerous awards, including the title of Field Knight of the Order of St. George, making him the youngest member of the Order in Canada.
Josée Parent has always been exceptionally committed to various organizing committees. Specializing in fire prevention courses with firefighters and first aid with St. John Ambulance, she has also been part of the board of the Regional AIDS Action Bureau, where she has led several community and educational projects.
Adizetou Teouri, a 19-year-old international management student, has an enriching background, particularly through the Cadet program, where she achieved the rank of First Class Sergeant, the highest rank, earning her the Medal of the Order of St. George. She enjoys getting involved in team projects and societal initiatives, striving to innovate and inspire others, especially through basketball.
At just 15 years old, Eugénye Gagnon dedicates several hours each week to volunteering with various organizations and civic initiatives. She has always been there to lend a hand to her peers as well as to those in need. Eugénye is reliable, independent, and does not hesitate to invest herself wholeheartedly in a project. That’s why she was selected for the #Potentiel Infini 2.0 project. With her, there are no problems, only solutions!
