We aim to show that everything is possible with will, and that everything is not learned in school. (It’s/It is) by taking risks and confronting your concerns that we learn and grow. You just need to see farther, be ambitious and believe in yourself. With motivation and determination, we can reach our goals. We are aware of the obstacles (we’ll/we will) need to overcome, but we see it as a big challenge to take on as a team. We are young, motivated people pushed by ambitions, but (holding/having) a concrete, realistic vision of an adventure that could put all our potential and knowledge to the test.

June 10th 2021 would have been the 100th Birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh. As the family of the Prize, we miss him. Prince Philip was a champion of the infinite potential of the youth and a pioneer of education and informal teachings. As we celebrate his 100th Birthday, the global family of the Prize is determined to make it so that his vision of the Prize could go on and develop itself for the many years to come, as he would have wanted.
Throughout her reign, and until her death, the queen of Canada defended public services and volunteering across the world. By meeting influential people, her Majesty pushed forward and considerably influenced numerous important causes and served as an example to several of us. She sponsored over 600 charities and organizations, including 36 in Canada. In that way and many more, the ascension will be a «Thank you Ma'am» and an opportunity to commemorate her reign.
From coast to coast, since 1963, Th e Duke of Edin-
burgh's International Award - Canada helped young people to set
goals and take control of their own futures. Annually, more than
20,000 young Canadians and 2,600 group leaders are involved in the
Award and defend the values of our modern society. Th e program
is present in cities, isolated communities, in schools, organizations
such as Cadets, Scouts and Guides, indigenous communities, clubs
athletes and much more. Today, with the Kilimanjaro, we pave the
way for them and for so many more.
The ascent of the Kilimandjaro is this project's ultimate objective. These 8 days of climbing will concllude a year of filming and intensive training. Throughout this trip, we will meet new cultures, new challenges and learnings.
The highest point in Africa at an altitude of 5,895 meters and the 4th highest peak* in the world, Kilimanjaro is a volcanic massif whose isolated summit, covered with eternal snow, overlooks the nearby savannah. It is surrounded by a mountain forest and is home to many mammals, including several which are endangered species.
